Summer weddings have a special kind of magic in Indiana. Long evenings, lush greenery, and elegant venues create the perfect backdrop for timeless celebrations. Kelsey and Tyler’s beautiful wedding at the The Bridgewater Club embraced that summer elegance with a soft, romantic palette of blues and classic coastal-inspired details.
Their celebration blended “Hamptons meets Midwest” style, pairing crisp whites with soft watercolor blues, hydrangea florals, and thoughtful stationery details that carried the aesthetic from the invitations all the way through the reception tables.
A Classic Blue Wedding Invitation Suite
Everything about a wedding starts at the wedding invitation. Kelsey and Tyler’s invitation suite perfectly set the tone for their elegant summer wedding!
The design featured soft watercolor blue and white hydrangeas framing the invitation card, creating a romantic botanical border that felt fresh, classic, and seasonal. At the top of the invitation sat a custom watercolor “KT” crest, adding a personal monogram element that carried throughout the suite.
Other elegant details included in a scroll-frame die cut details card, a hand-drawn illustration of Bridgewater Club, and a classic wrap-around band that neatly bundled the stacked cards together.
The finished suite felt both coastal and classic, reminiscent of East Coast summer weddings while still perfectly suited for an elegant Midwest venue.

A Beautiful Wedding Venue in Carmel, Indiana
Located just north of Indianapolis, The Bridgewater Club is one of Central Indiana’s most sought-after wedding venues.
Couples love the venue for its combination of refined architecture, lush golf course views, and versatile indoor and outdoor spaces. The property offers several stunning locations for wedding celebrations, including ceremony lawns, elegant reception spaces, and beautiful patios for cocktail hour.
For Kelsey and Tyler’s celebration, guests enjoyed a relaxed summer cocktail hour outdoors before moving into the reception, where the blue color palette carried beautifully throughout the décor.
Butterfly Escort Cards on a Garden Trellis
Guests were welcomed into cocktail hour with one of the most thoughtful & whimsical details of the day.
Escort cards were designed as delicate blue butterflies and attached to a white garden trellis display, creating a stunning installation as guests entered the patio. The butterflies added movement, dimension, and a soft romantic feel to the wedding space. As guests found their names, they removed their butterfly escort card and discovered their assigned table for dinner.
It was both a beautiful décor feature and a functional seating display, blending seamlessly with the garden-inspired atmosphere of the evening.

Elegant Table Numbers with Soft Blue Florals
At each reception table, the blue theme continued with elegant table numbers featuring a soft blue floral pattern background. Displayed in sleek silver bases, the table numbers complemented the rest of the tablescape without overpowering the floral arrangements. The soft pattern echoed the hydrangea tones used throughout the invitation suite, creating a cohesive design story from invitation to reception.
The Showstopper: Hydrangea Laser-Cut Menu Cards
If there was one piece of wedding stationery that stole the show, it was the menu cards.
These unique designs featured round menu cards layered over blue circular backers, creating a modern yet romantic shape for each place setting.
The top layer included watercolor hydrangeas that matched the invitations, but the real magic was in the finishing detail: The hydrangea artwork was laser cut, allowing the petals and leaves to spill gracefully beyond the edge of the circular card. This detail created a dimensional, sculptural effect that elevated the entire tablescape.
To make the experience even more personal, each menu card listed only the guest’s pre-selected entrée, turning every place setting into a customized piece of stationery. It was a thoughtful touch that guests loved—and one that made the table design feel truly special.

Why Blue Is One of the Best Wedding Color Palettes
Blue continues to be one of the most popular wedding color palettes — and for good reason. Soft tones like French blue, dusty blue, and watercolor blues feel romantic, elegant and timeless. They pair beautifully with classic wedding elements like hydrangeas, chinoiserie patterns, and monogram crests.
Blue also works especially well for...
- Summer weddings
- Coastal or Hamptons-inspired celebrations
- Classic garden weddings
- Estate or country club venues
When layered with crisp whites, silver accents, or soft greenery, blue creates a palette that feels fresh, refined, and effortlessly elegant.
A Perfectly Cohesive Wedding Day
From the hydrangea-bordered invitation suite to the butterfly escort display and the breathtaking laser-cut menus, Kelsey and Tyler’s wedding day paper created a cohesive design story that carried throughout their entire celebration.
Their summer wedding at The Bridgewater Club was the perfect blend of Midwest elegance and East Coast inspiration—proving that thoughtful stationery details can truly elevate every part of the wedding experience!

When it comes to wedding day details, signage is one of those elements that can either feel like an afterthought… or a moment.
...and lately, one of our favorite ways to create that moment — without adding stress to your setup — is with hanging fabric wedding signs. They’re soft, romantic, incredibly versatile, and (honestly) one of the easiest upgrades you can make to your wedding design.

A Softer, More Elevated First Impression
Your welcome sign is one of the very first things guests see when they arrive—and it quietly sets the tone for everything that follows.
Let’s be honest—wedding setup logistics are no small thing.
If you’re flying to your venue — or simply trying to keep your wedding weekend streamlined — every item you bring matters.
Our fabric signs are designed with the same fine-art approach as our invitations—meaning they don’t just match your paper goods… they elevate your entire wedding aesthetic.
The best wedding details are the ones that feel intentional—yet never overdone. Hanging fabric signs strike that balance beautifully. They draw guests in without overwhelming the space, creating a soft focal point that feels thoughtfully styled rather than simply placed. The natural movement of the fabric adds an organic elegance, allowing the sign to photograph beautifully while bringing subtle texture and dimension into your overall design.
If you’re looking to elevate your wedding day without adding complexity to your setup, hanging fabric signs offer an ideal solution. They bring a high-end, editorial look while remaining incredibly simple to transport and install, making them especially appealing for venues with tight timelines or more limited access.
Your welcome sign is one of the very first things guests see when they arrive—and it quietly sets the tone for everything that follows.
Hanging fabric signs instantly feel more refined than traditional rigid signage. The movement of the fabric, the texture, and the way they interact with the space create a softer, more editorial look.
Think...
- Flowing fabric instead of hard edges
- Elegant drape instead of stiff structure
- A design that feels styled, not placed
Designed for Beauty and Simplicity
Let’s be honest—wedding setup logistics are no small thing.
Between vendor arrival windows, tight timelines, and sometimes tricky venue access (hello, downtown loading zones and long walks), the last thing you need is complicated signage. That’s exactly where hanging fabric signs shine.
They are...
- Lightweight and easy to transport
- Quick to install (no heavy stands required)
- Ideal for venues with limited setup time
- Perfect for spaces where traditional signage feels bulky
A Perfect Fit for Destination Weddings
If you’re flying to your venue — or simply trying to keep your wedding weekend streamlined — every item you bring matters.
Hanging fabric signs fold easily, pack flat, and don’t require oversized or fragile materials. That makes them a dream option for destination weddings or venues with stricter setup rules. No hauling large, heavy acrylic boards. No worrying about stands or breakage. Just one beautifully designed piece that arrives ready to hang.
Effortlessly Elegant Design Options
Our fabric signs are designed with the same fine-art approach as our invitations—meaning they don’t just match your paper goods… they elevate your entire wedding aesthetic.
Two of our favorites:
Countryside Hanging Fabric Welcome Sign
The Countryside design is soft, romantic, and beautifully understated—perfect for outdoor weddings, garden settings, or any celebration leaning into an organic, natural aesthetic.

Detail Guests Actually Notice
The best wedding details are the ones that feel intentional—yet never overdone. Hanging fabric signs strike that balance beautifully. They draw guests in without overwhelming the space, creating a soft focal point that feels thoughtfully styled rather than simply placed. The natural movement of the fabric adds an organic elegance, allowing the sign to photograph beautifully while bringing subtle texture and dimension into your overall design.
Unlike more traditional signage options, fabric signs feel fresh and distinctive. They offer a refined alternative that stands out in the most understated way, becoming part of the visual story your wedding tells from the very first moment guests arrive. Just like your invitations, they aren’t just functional—they’re an experience.
The Perfect Blend of Luxury and Ease
If you’re looking to elevate your wedding day without adding complexity to your setup, hanging fabric signs offer an ideal solution. They bring a high-end, editorial look while remaining incredibly simple to transport and install, making them especially appealing for venues with tight timelines or more limited access.
Everything about them is designed to feel seamless—from the way they complement your overall aesthetic to the ease with which they fit into your day. They’re a reminder that some of the most impactful details don’t require added stress—just thoughtful design.

Why Custom Wedding Illustrations Elevate Your Invitation Suite
When it comes to luxury weddings, the magic is always in the details.
From silk ribbons to letterpress printing, every element plays a role in creating an experience your guests will remember long before they arrive. But one detail that truly sets high-end wedding stationery apart?
Custom wedding illustrations.
Whether it’s a hand-painted venue, a romantic watercolor map, or a bespoke monogram crest, custom artwork brings a level of personalization and artistry that simply can’t be replicated with templates.
What Are Custom Wedding Illustrations?
Custom wedding illustrations are original pieces of artwork created specifically for your wedding paper suite. These designs are tailored to your venue, your story, and your overall aesthetic.
Custom wedding illustrations are original pieces of artwork created specifically for your wedding paper suite. These designs are tailored to your venue, your story, and your overall aesthetic.
Some of the most popular options include:
- Venue illustrations invitations (watercolor or fine-art line drawings)
- Watercolor wedding maps highlighting meaningful locations
- Custom monograms or crests used across all paper goods
- Illustrated details like florals, pets, or architectural elements
- These aren’t just pretty additions—they become part of your wedding’s visual identity.

Why Luxury Brides Are Choosing Custom Illustrations
1. They Instantly Set the Tone
Your invitation is the very first glimpse guests receive of your wedding day.
A custom venue illustration immediately communicates the level of detail and intention behind your celebration—whether it’s a historic estate, a grand ballroom, or a romantic garden setting.
Before guests even read the details, they feel the experience.
2. They Create a Cohesive, Elevated Design
One of the biggest advantages of custom artwork is how seamlessly it carries throughout your entire wedding. That same illustration can be used across your save-the-dates, invitations, wedding ceremony programs, wedding day signage, and more. This creates a beautifully cohesive look that feels intentional and refined from start to finish.
3. They Highlight Your Venue in a Meaningful Way
Your venue is more than just a location—it’s the backdrop of your entire day.
Your venue is more than just a location—it’s the backdrop of your entire day.
Custom venue illustrations invitations allow you to showcase its architecture and character in a soft, artistic way. Whether it’s the timeless elegance of a historic building or the charm of a countryside estate, an illustration captures it in a way photography simply can’t.
4. They Add a Personal, Story-Driven Element
This is where custom illustrations really shine.
This is where custom illustrations really shine.
A watercolor wedding map can highlight meaningful places—where you met, where you got engaged, or favorite local spots for guests to explore. In addition to traditional map details, engaged couples also love incorporating their home, their pets, travel-inspired elements, tamily estates and heirloom locations. It transforms your invitations into something deeply personal—not just informative.
Are Custom Illustrations Worth It?
For couples investing in a luxury wedding experience, the answer is almost always yes!
Final Thoughts
If you’re looking to create wedding invitations that feel truly elevated, intentional, and uniquely yours, custom illustrations are one of the most impactful ways to do it. They bring together artistry, storytelling, and design in a way that transforms your paper suite into something unforgettable.
...and in a world of templates and quick-turnaround designs, that level of personalization is what sets a luxury wedding apart.
