Paloma and Rylin’s wedding day at Newfields was the perfect blend of timeless elegance, rich cultural celebration, and romantic detail. Every aspect of the day felt thoughtfully layered — from the grand reception design and lush florals to the refined stationery details that carried throughout the entire celebration.

The couple exchanged vows surrounded by the classic beauty and architecture of Newfields before transitioning into an opulent reception filled with candlelight, ornate gold accents, and elevated garden-inspired design elements. Large chandeliers dangled dramatically above each reception table, creating a warm glow throughout the evening, while gold framed chairs added an unmistakably luxurious touch to the overall atmosphere.
Soft florals in shades of ivory, white, and layered greenery complemented the romantic aesthetic beautifully, allowing the rich gold details woven throughout the celebration to truly shine.

A Luxurious Invitation Suite with Romantic Gold Details

From the very beginning, the wedding stationery introduced guests to the elegant atmosphere awaiting them on the wedding day itself.

Their invitation suite featured our signature Antique Gold shimmer ink printed on Soft Ivory matte cardstock, creating a soft metallic finish that felt refined and timeless. The main invitation card showcased an ornate border filled with intricate detailing, giving the suite an elevated and formal presence while still maintaining softness and romance.

To add even more texture and dimension, the stacked cards were wrapped in a custom angled vellum wrap unlike traditional vellum — this version featured a delicate pearlescent finish that subtly reflected light and added an ethereal quality to the suite.

Holding the vellum wrap in place was a laser cut monogram tag that tied the presentation together beautifully.

Inside, guests discovered a folded details booklet tucked neatly into the wrap, allowing the invitation suite to remain clean and organized while still providing wedding weekend information in an elegant format.
One of the most striking elements was the envelope liner itself. Printed on Antique Gold metallic paper, the liner featured the couple’s monogram crest in soft Ivory ink, creating an incredibly luxurious first impression as guests opened the envelope.

A Meaningful Ceremony at Saint Joan of Arc Church

Before celebrating at Newfields, Paloma and Rylin exchanged vows during a deeply meaningful ceremony at Saint Joan of Arc Catholic Church — a church that held tremendous personal significance for the bride.
Having attended Saint Joan of Arc throughout her college years, the church represented an important part of Paloma’s faith journey and personal history. The historic architecture, breathtaking stained glass, and ornate detailing created an incredibly reverent and romantic setting for the ceremony itself, perfectly complementing the timeless elegance woven throughout the entire wedding day.

Adding even more emotional significance to the ceremony, both Paloma’s childhood priest and her college priest co-officiated the Mass, beautifully blending together different chapters of her life in such a heartfelt way.
Guests were welcomed into the church by the lively sounds of a mariachi ensemble, an intentional nod to Paloma’s heritage that immediately filled the space with warmth, joy, and celebration. The blend of sacred tradition and cultural detail created an atmosphere that felt both deeply personal and incredibly memorable.

The ceremony itself thoughtfully incorporated traditional Catholic customs alongside meaningful cultural elements, including the lighting of the unity candle by the couple’s mothers, the wedding lasso symbolizing eternal unity, and the exchange of arras coins representing shared responsibility and partnership within marriage. Bilingual blessings and heartfelt vows further reflected the importance of faith, family, and heritage throughout the celebration.

As Paloma made her entrance, her dramatic cathedral-length train flowed behind her down the marble aisle, creating one of the most breathtaking moments of the entire day. The ceremony felt timeless, emotional, and filled with reverence — a beautiful beginning to the celebration that followed.

Elegant Wedding Day Stationery Details

The same timeless aesthetic carried seamlessly into the wedding day paper details.

For the reception tables, we designed elegant die cut menus featuring the couple’s monogram pressed in Gold foil on the outward-facing side. Once guests turned the menu over, they discovered the evening’s dining selections printed on the reverse side — an understated but thoughtful interactive detail that felt polished and elevated.

The seating chart became one of the statement installations of the reception space itself. Displayed on a large antique-inspired mirror framed in ornate gold detailing, individual escort cards were attached using gold wax seals for added texture and dimension. Each card featured guest names alphabetized alongside their assigned table numbers, creating a display that felt both highly functional and beautifully curated.

Guests were welcomed into the celebration with a coordinating mirror welcome sign displayed on an easel near the entrance. Finished with white vinyl lettering and framed in matching ornate gold detailing, the sign tied effortlessly into the overall design aesthetic of the wedding day.

A Celebration Rich in Culture and Elegance

One of the most memorable aspects of Paloma and Rylin’s wedding was the way it beautifully honored the bride’s Colombian heritage throughout the celebration.

During cocktail hour — and later again during the reception evening — guests were surprised with lively cultural performances from traditional Mexican dancers, adding incredible energy and vibrancy to the celebration. The performances brought such a joyful and meaningful layer to the evening while blending seamlessly with the upscale, romantic atmosphere of the wedding day itself.

The combination of timeless elegance, cultural celebration, layered textures, and thoughtful details made Paloma and Rylin’s wedding feel both deeply personal and unforgettable.

Rather than relying on fleeting trends, every detail of this wedding — from the stationery and florals to the reception design itself — focused on creating a guest experience that felt sophisticated, immersive, and lasting.
