Some weddings feel like stepping into another era in the very best way — romantic, intentional, and filled with meaningful details that guests remember long after the celebration ends.
Vivian and Robert’s wedding at Conner Prairie’s The Bluffs was exactly that kind of celebration.

Planned beautifully by Four Leaf Events and filled with lush floral artistry by Bella Sorella Floral Design, the day blended vintage elegance with whimsical garden-inspired details. Rich greens, plum purples, mauves, and soft pinks created a palette that felt both romantic and dramatic — perfect for the setting at The Bluffs at Conner Prairie, with catering by Ritz Charles.
The couple’s stationery suite set the tone from the very beginning. Their invitations featured handmade paper paired with a mix of flat printing and gold foil details for an elevated vintage feel. A custom vintage-inspired monogram crest tied the suite together beautifully, creating a timeless first impression that felt refined, romantic, and deeply personal.

One of our favorite details from the wedding was the seating display. Rather than traditional escort cards, Vivian and Robert chose to create miniature vintage-inspired dance books for each guest. Inspired by old-fashioned dance cards, the interiors included signature lines where guests could collect autographs and notes throughout the evening — a nostalgic detail that instantly became an interactive keepsake. Each piece was printed on archival paper and finished with elegant green tassels, adding texture and movement to the display.

The reception itself felt effortlessly enchanting. Layers of lush flowers, candlelight, and rich jewel-toned details transformed the space into something that felt both intimate and grand. Every design choice reflected the couple’s personalities and love story.
And then there was the first dance.
Vivian, a ballroom dancer and classical music minor, choreographed the couple’s unforgettable dance to “Once Upon a December” from Anastasia. The performance felt cinematic — graceful, emotional, and completely captivating for guests to watch. It was one of those wedding moments that perfectly captures who a couple is together.

What made this wedding especially memorable was how thoughtfully every detail connected. From the vintage-inspired invitation suite to the dance-book seating cards and romantic first dance, the entire celebration felt cohesive and deeply intentional — proof that personalized stationery and meaningful design elements truly help tell a couple’s story.
If you’re dreaming of a wedding aesthetic that feels timeless, romantic, and one-of-a-kind, incorporating custom details like monogram crests, specialty print finishes, and interactive paper elements can completely transform the guest experience from the moment the invitation arrives.
