In a big city like Indianapolis, it’s hard to find an ideal “garden” setting for a wedding. When we saw first hand how Tara Nicole Weddings transformed the popular Indiana Roof Ballroom into a garden dream wedding for Kelleen and Kevin, we were in total awe!

 

On today’s blog, we’re recapping this breathtaking wedding day and sharing all of our favorite wedding details.

To kick off Kelleen & Kevin's wedding weekend, the couple's out-of-town wedding guests were greeted at their hotel with custom welcome boxes - complete with monogrammed water bottles, delicious popcorn packets from a local favorite Just Pop In, a custom wedding weekend itinerary card, and many more delightful goodies!

 

 

The wedding ceremony was a full Catholic mass ceremony, and took place at Our Lady of Mount Carmel in Carmel, Indiana. For the couple, we created a custom wedding program booklet to include all of their important details. The cover was constructed of a thick cotton cardstock with torn deckled edging, and featured the custom monogram crest we created for the couple (don’t you love the rose gold elements?). The booklet pages were bound together by a thin Evergreen satin ribbon to compliment the greenery elements used in their custom wedding monogram crest. Inside the booklet, Kelleen even included a detailed section about how her dress is a restyled version of her mother’s wedding dress – a detail we absolutely love! Their program booklet also included hymns so that guests could follow along, as well as directions to the reception and parking information (both of which I’m sure their out-of-town guests greatly appreciated).  

 

 

After there ceremony, guests made their way to downtown Indianapolis, where the Indiana Roof Ballroom is located. Little did guests know they would soon be whisked away into the most beautiful evening wedding in the midst of a secret garden, designed exclusively for the couple and their closest friends and family.

 

To enhance the garden feel of the wedding reception, the couple had a desire for lots of greenery throughout her wedding – from the wedding florals to the custom wedding paper details, it was important to them that it be incorporated.

 

 

Along with the greenery elements, touches of rose gold and copper were a part of the overall wedding style. The metallic tones placed in small pieces throughout the wedding day. It’s evident that these metallics brought a higher level of elegance and sophistication to Kelleen and Kevin’s wedding ceremony and reception. The rose gold color was infused into the reception through metallic tapered candles, votive holders, and in small accents throughout their custom wedding stationery. We used rose gold to accent their custom wedding monogram crest, as well as in their menu text. The rose gold metallic color also made an appearance on their custom table numbers we designed exclusively for them.

 

 

 

We also helped the couple with various custom wedding signs – a large wooden wedding seating chart, a custom laser cut wooden sign for their favor table, and a clear acrylic Guestbook sign with a custom wooden stand. To ensure all of their wedding reception paper details corresponded, we also created custom signs for their bar area (a complimentary service we offer all of our full service wedding stationery clients!).
