Are you ready to see one of our favorites from the 2019 wedding season?? This beautiful Fall wedding day took place at the charming Ashford Acres Inn in Cynthiana, Kentucky (just south of Cincinnati). When we heard that Nina Grey Photography would be photographing the impeccable details of the day, we were over the moon!

(To see the full vendor list, be sure to scroll to the bottom - this wedding vendor lineup was a total dream team.)

The wedding color palette

The couple chose a delicate wedding color palette of soft neutrals for their wedding invitations and wedding day stationery. After the ceremony, they then infused a few subtle Fall hues into the reception floral arrangements, in order to add seasonal pops of color on their wedding reception tablescapes.

The venue

If you live in the Cincinnati area, you are likely familiar with Ashford Acres Inn. The inn boasts the most breathtaking estate, nestled among ample greenery and trees – a perfect backdrop for wedding photos. No wonder it’s such a popular wedding venue for Cincinnati area brides and grooms!

Their newly built barn is a perfect space for wedding receptions, as you can see in the photos below!

This venue is an especially great fit for brides and grooms seeking an intimate wedding setting. Ashford Acres Inn also doubles as a bed & breakfast – allowing you to host your closest friends and family for the full wedding weekend.

The wedding stationery

To compliment the bride and groom’s romantic and intimate wedding style, we created a custom wedding invitation that was flat printed on soft white cotton paper with hand deckled edges. To give the invitation suite some dimension, we chose a soft gray response card, to create some contrast. We then completed the invitation suite design with printed calligraphy on the mailing envelope, along with a curated set of vintage stamps to compliment the couple’s wedding color palette.
For the wedding ceremony program booklets, we carried over the soft gray cardstock we used for the invitation response card.

The wedding programs featured calligraphy that corresponded with the invitation, along with a delicate toile ribbon binding – a lovely (and budget friendly) way to dress up your wedding ceremony programs!

As guests made their way into the wedding barn for the afternoon reception, they found their names and seating assignments printed on custom seating cards. The bride and groom really wanted to dress these up and steer away from a traditional seating card – so, we printed the names on torn vellum paper, layered them onto a soft cotton cardstock, and embellished each one with a tiny gold brad. These tiny cards are some of our favorite seating cards to-date! (PRO TIP: Don’t overlook the seating cards…your guests will remember the “wow” factors of your big day.)

Once the guests arrived at their seats, they were greeted by asymmetrical wedding menu cards with a single hand deckled edge at the bottom of the card. (PRO TIP: We find that torn edges on paper really softens up the look of custom wedding paperie! Handmade paper is a huge wedding trend at the moment, and this allows our clients to mimic the look at a much easier price point.)

Other elements that we loved from this day were the champagne tower (what a fun idea to liven things up at cocktail hour!), the most incredible tablescape designs at the wedding reception, The stunning tabletop florals and bouquets by Sunkissed Blooms, and mostly, the love captured between the bride and groom.
